Renowned international certification and inspection entity Bureau Veritas has granted its Safeguard certification to 9 GeoPark contractors that provide different types of services in the Llanos 34 block in Casanare department.

Through its commitment to being a good neighbor and wanting to help strengthen its neighbors’ food supplies, GeoPark is supporting a local government
project in Shushufindi, Ecuador to create a nursery that will grow plants for up to 350 families.

Honoring its commitment to help fulfil the Sustainable Development Goals, GeoPark has joined a project led by the Ecuadorian chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) to plant 10,000 trees in the country.

GeoPark gave a training session on cybersecurity in the context of online education to 60 elementary school teachers, directors and supervisors in the towns of Plaza Huincul and Cutral Co in Argentina’s Neuquen province on June 19. The training was held in coordination with the Institutional Liaison Office of the province’s Ministry of Education.

GeoPark, the Digital Education department of the Neuquen Province Ministry of Education, IBM and the Infotech cluster held an online discussion on network security on October 8 with secondary school students in Neuquen.

GeoPark will hold an online workshop October 7 on process compliance in purchasing and contracting, as the first event in a series of training sessions in October and November for the general public in Chile’s Magallanes Region, oil sector professionals and university students.
